Hello all,
As the title suggests, I am selling two computers (they may or may not be in working condition.) These computers are still quite usable if you are adventurous and love tinkering with laptops.
Computer number1: Apple PowerBook G4
Description: This is a PowerMac computer, meaning that Windows cannot be installed to it. The computer is in good physical condition. The Mac powers on and makes the chime noise but a question mark appears on screen. Needs a new hard drive. Does not come with installation discs (will be up to the end-user to obtain these, along with hard drive replacement.) This mac comes with an AC adapter. Battery holds charge. Keyboard needs to be sprayed with compressed air because some keys stick. Could be fixed and resold.
Computer number two:
Sony Vaio (Late 2007:
This laptop actually works. Fan was recently replaced but sounds like it is still being overtaxed. The fan cycles and computer overheats, even though the fan has been replaced. Does not come with Jaws or any other screen reader installed but one can be loaded upon request. Other than the computer overheating, it has a dead battery (it will not hold a charge at all.) After you unplug the AC adapter, it dies. Has built-in wireless, an SD card reader, a single core processor, 1 gig of ram, and not sure about hard drive size. Obtained these computers from a cousin. Figured they weren't worth my time, but both could easily be fixed if you know what your doing. The vaio comes with MS Office, too. Comes with XP Pro.
Asking $50 per system. Remember, the Mac does not boot. It can be fixed. The Vaio does boot but needs a new battery and the issue of overheating may need to be looked into further.
